Two-Day mountain hut elopement

Has anyone ever told you that your wedding day doesn’t have to be that - just one day? Well then we are here to tell you exactly that, why not transform your wedding into two incredible days filled with everything you ever wanted to do. Like staying overnight in a mountain hut and watching the sun set with no one else present.

In our first call S&S didn’t even think about the possibility of a two-day wedding. They were always taught that weddings only last for a day and therefore they didn’t have anything else in their mind until we told them about everything they could do on a two-day adventure. From that point on there was no going back and they 100% knew that this was exactly what they wanted to do for their wedding. And we totally get that, two days give you so much more freedom and the great thing about splitting it into more days is that you can incorporate more adventures and now have the chance to reach places that would otherwise be unattainable.

So we set off on our first day for a beautiful alpine lake (this was actually the plan b as plan a - a hot air balloon ride - couldn’t happen because of the weather) where the two of them could enjoy the beautiful weather and a relax walk around the lake. Because of the many valleys the Alps have the weather can be completely different if you only drive a few miles in a different direction. That’s exactly why the hot air balloon ride was too dangerous because of severe winds and in the next valley we had only a soft breeze, which was perfect for a nice stroll around the lake.

Afterwards we all headed up the mountain and the two of them quickly changed into their wedding attire to explore more of the area on top of the mountain and to take some couple photos. It was so peaceful and right when the last gondola left the mountain top we had all of the area to ourselves and S&S we able to fully relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Watching the sun set on top of mountain and the day slowly drifting into the night will always be something special, no matter how often we’ve had the privilege to experience it. And there is no better feeling than falling asleep with that picture in mind - promise!

For their next day S&S wanted to get officially married but before that happened S got ready and had her hair and make-up down. We drove to a spot so beautiful that you wouldn’t believe it is still on this planet. And right there with the mountains towering behind them the two officially tied the knot and it was such an emotional moment, a moment that we will forever keep in our memories. We took some more couple photos at this incredible spot before S&S enjoyed a wonderful picnic that Anne had set up in the meantime.

Dear Anne, dear Lisa and dear Max,

We would like to say THANK YOU. We are thrilled by the moments with you. We are thrilled with Anne, who always keeps an overview, no matter what happens and even turns plan B into the perfect plan A. We are thrilled with your photos, dear Lisa and dear Max, because they are even more beautiful than we could ever have imagined.
