Winter elopement in Kitzbühel
When two adventurers embark on the long journey from the States to celebrate a two-day elopement in the Alps, it can only be magical days. Add to that a skiing adventure and an unforgettable helicopter ride 😍
On day 1 the two decided to get ready separately and to have a first look at sunrise. The mountaintops were already bathed in golden light of the sun and the air was crisp & fresh, which made their first look so special.
This sunny winter morning was also the perfect setting for their first adventure of the day. We took a gondola up to a nearby peak where they geared up for their first adrenaline rush: a thrilling ski decent.
The powdery snow and stunning views made the experience unforgettable. Later, they warmed up in a cozy alpine hut, surrounded by their family.
But the day was far from over. Next, they boarded a helicopter that took them to another mountain peek. On top of the world, with nothing but deep snow and breathtaking views, the two - looking every bit the adventurers they are - trekked through the untouched snow to find the perfect spot for their vows.
Standing there, alone amidst the silence of the mountains, was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
They ended the day with a cozy dinner, reflecting on the incredible moments they'd shared. But the adventure wasn't finished yet - on day 2 they had more exciting plans ahead.
After getting ready once again, the family gathered for a lovely brunch, before heading to a nearby nature park. Watching the deer delighted both young and old. After the big adventures on day 1 W&J decided that day 2 should be a bit more relaxed and family-centered. We stayed at the park for a bit longer, took some more family portraits and strolled around to see all the animals. They ended day 2 with a lovely lunch with their family at a nearby restaurant.
We seriously can’t stop looking at the elopement photos of those two wonderful souls and remembering how EPIC the entire adventure was. We are so humbled and grateful that they invited us to be part of their story.
“From the moment we met them virtually, to the first in person greeting, they felt like family. We had absolute confidence that our dream wedding would be a success. From getting ready, winter skiing, a breathtaking helicopter tour to a remote snowy mountain for private vows, nature park with deer, to every dinner, brunch, and drinks with our family, the team thought of everything to make it special and a lifetime experience.”
